1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Akter Clinic and third-party services used on this website may store or access information on your browser, device or terminal equipment. This includes cookies, local storage and similar technologies.

3. Our current website setup

At the date of this review, the website's own code does not intentionally install first-party advertising cookies or Google Analytics. The website does, however, use or plan to use:

Cloudflare Pages or related Cloudflare security and delivery services;
an embedded Google Form for consultation requests;
an embedded Google Map on the contact page;
Google Fonts for typography; and
external telephone, email and Instagram links.

This list must be checked again immediately before launch and whenever a new plugin, script, analytics service, chat widget, advertising tool or embedded service is added.

Where consent is required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, non-essential storage or access technologies must not be activated before a visitor takes a clear positive action. Continuing to browse is not, by itself, valid consent.

UK law also contains limited exceptions for specified low-risk or necessary uses. Akter Clinic will document any exception it relies on and will still provide clear information and an appropriate way to object where the law requires it.
